I'm the lead for the Program Management Center of Excellence at LMI, a mission-driven consulting firm in Tysons, VA committed to improving the management of government by designing and implementing practical solutions to some of the toughest problems facing federal leaders in logistics, management, and information technology. In this role, I lead all operations related to our PMs, including training and development, customer delivery excellence, career pathing and mobility, and financial management of contracts. I act as a liaison across facets of the organization to facilitate the support our PMs need to be successful in their career and in delivery excellence to our customers. Prior to taking on this role, I worked as the Practice Area Lead for Data Readiness at LMI, developing and delivering solutions focused around data engineering, data cleansing, initialization of metadata management and data governance, and data quality using both descriptive and advanced analytics tools.Before joining LMI, I spent 10 years as a Mathematics teacher in NC and VA. I was heavily involved in and enjoyed leading training seminars and teacher enrichment activities. I spent my last two years teaching at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, a magnet Governor’s school serving Northern Virginia, where I also served as the Assistant Division Chair of the Math and Computer Science department.I have an MS in Applied Mathematics from NCSU and a BS in Mathematics and Mathematics Education with a minor in Computer Science from Elon University.I’m truly passionate about devoting myself to helping others and always eager to connect with others who share similar interests. While my two experience areas in consulting and teaching may seem different, my favorite part of both is partnering with others to provide them with the knowledge and experience they need to make informed decisions.
