# About Me: Founder of Conduit and Ask Different QuestionsAs the founder and director of Conduit and Ask Different Questions, I'm passionate about providing assistive technology, educational consulting, and imagination development services to schools, organizations, and individuals around the world. Through these initiatives, I leverage my extensive experience in special education, innovation, and global learning to create customized solutions that address diverse learning needs and challenges.My journey in education has been driven by a deep-seated belief in the power of connection and collaboration. I've had the privilege of working on four continents, leading various initiatives that foster cross-cultural communication, creativity, and problem-solving. I have worked in schools, both public and private, in the roles of special education teacher, head of school, division head, and innovation director. One of my most rewarding experiences was serving as the Director of Innovation and Head of Global Division/Online Programs at Lab School of Washington, where I oversaw both the brick and mortar elementary program and started and ran the virtual global division for students with learning differences.My academic background includes two master's degrees in special education and teaching and educational leadership and administration, as well as a bachelor's degree in linguistics, from The Ohio State University and Concordia University Chicago.Through Conduit, I aim to bridge the gap between traditional education and the unique needs of diverse learners. I believe that by asking different questions and approaching challenges from new angles, we can unlock the hidden potential in every learner. This philosophy is at the core of both Conduit and Ask Different Questions.As a certified strategic foresight practitioner, I'm always looking towards the future of education. I enjoy applying foresight tools and methods to anticipate and shape the learning landscape, ensuring that Conduit remains at the forefront of educational innovation.I'm constantly amazed by the power of collective intelligence and the incredible insights that emerge when people from different backgrounds come together.
