With an undergraduate degree in Sustainability from ASU, I am passionate about environmentally smart practices, community gatherings, and mindful living; my goal is to combine these core values in my personal and professional lives. I started my career through coordinating events and programs with the Growhouse Urban Agriculture Center, a community garden in downtown Phoenix that helps bring awareness and education about urban farming and sustainable gardening practices. I developed a farm-to-table event that hosted over 100 guests and continued on for five seasons. For three years, I managed the logistics for the annual Chile Pepper community event, which attracted over 7,000 visitors. Up until February of 2020 I held the Director of Programs role for Roosevelt Community Development Corporation managing the arts district's First Friday Arts Market and programming, annual events, grant writing and fundraising, staffing, and other nonprofit organizational responsibilities. As the Executive Director in 2020-2021, I took on fundraising, operations, and leadership. I currently work with the Downtown Tempe Authority managing and producing placemaking community events. I'm passionate about getting outside as often as possible, investing in my relationships, and doing my part to make this world a better place.
