I began working with Ipswich Local News as an intern in the summer of 2022 and worked as a freelance writer while attending college. I’ve written numerous articles covering a variety of topics including local politics, businesses, drought coverage, and school committee meetings. I’ve also established contacts with notable community members, assisted in photographing content, and expanded my writing skills through creative, critical play reviews.I graduated from Boston College with a BA in Communication and English. I was one of 15 students in the Honors Communication Program who completed an undergraduate thesis. I also served as a copy editor for The Heights, Boston College's independent student newspaper. I edited articles published in every section of the paper for AP Style and grammar. I previously served as the associate news editor, where I wrote and edited around three articles weekly and regularly coordinated with a team of editors and staffers. Additionally, I helped keep extensive records of articles written, edited, and published, and delegated articles among contributors, staffers, and fellow editors.
