This role is now a cross-campus responsibility leading the Student Services teams to deliver high impact support across the areas of welfare and pastoral support, disability advice and guidance, student experience, sport and Library Services.- Responsible for driving forward and raising the performance of Student Services as a whole. - Responsible for the activities based in the Student Services Hubs and in the Student Wellbeing Service, and also for ensuring co-ordination between relevant teams- Promoting collaborative working between Academic departments and Student Services to align processes, and promote an inclusive learning environment- Developing appropriate and relevant quality standards of service delivery; and taking responsibility for the regular review, monitoring and evaluation of services- Lead in developing and providing a positive, imaginative and responsive service to students and other stakeholders- Respond to student complaints/feedback in the areas Student Services cover- Lead on the Student Resolution and Disciplinary processes

- Lead the Student Services and Learning - Support Teams to achieve organisational goals and objectives- PREVENT Lead for the HE PREVENT Agenda- Oversee all student DSA applications and all claims to DSA and funding for student support - Manage the Learning Support provision to ensure a quality, responsive service for students- Oversee timetabling of support hours and manage special examination requirements- Advise students and parents on Student Finance England- Pastoral Lead for a cohort of students- Oversee student support in relation to welfare, financial support, disciplinary processes, and other areas of student welfare- Prepare and deliver suitable training for staff development- General disability advice and guidance
