I work here every Wednesday and every other Friday. I work on Wednesdays to give the current receptionist a day away from the phones, to catch up on her workload. I do the general admin work, such as sending out reports, mail, ordering stationery, and any little odd jobs that people in the office need doing but are too busy to do it.

I was the full-time receptionist for 6 months, as maternity leave cover. I received the phone calls and redirected them throughout the office. I got the mail, and sorted it. I did the banking, and reconciled the bank statements to our database. I did filing and couriered packages. I helped to keep the database up to date and helped anyone in the office.

Penn Yan, New York

I worked as a general counsellor at The Salvation Army Long Point Camp in Penn Yan, New York. I was the counsellor for boys aged from 6-10 years old. I had an absolutely fantastic time, getting to know the other international counsellors and gaining friends for life. It was definitely a challenge but worth the experience.

I am working part time giving respite care to two girls one aged 20 and the other 15 with intellectual disabilities. We get to hang out, and go swimming and I teach the 15 year old how to bake and some basic lifeskills.
