She also founded the pioneering youth arts organizations, Urban Arts Partnership (NYC), and Youth Ensemble Theater for rural-disenfranchised youth, and has garnered awards from NY Thespian Festival, Education Theater Association of NYS, US Department of Education, Consortium of International Arts Educators, among others.
