I have been working in the field of finance and accounting since I was in high school. My love of accounting started when I helped my mom do the bookkeeping for my parents tool & die shop. When I was in college in Lima I worked part time at a small CPA firm in Wapak, Ohio until graduation when I began working there full time. I worked in Wapak until I moved to Columbus at the end of 1999.I was with Farwick Curran & Horgan full time from 2000 - 2003, and worked part time from 2003 - 2007. At FCH I prepared complilations for small business around central Ohio. I also prepared payroll taxes and income taxes. I also did the bookkeeping for a couple of our clients. This is how I met Mike George.In April of 2003 I decided that I need a change. So I decided to take a position with McDonalds Corporation. Yes, the golden arches, their accounting center is here in Columbus and I greatly enjoyed my time there.In February of 2005 Mike George & Gary Heinze had their company, Northwoods Consulting Partners growing in leaps and bounds. I had been doing their bookkeeping part time since I left FCH, and they were ready to hire me full time as their corporate controller. As Northwoods has grown over the years, so has my job. In February 2013 I became the Director of Cash Management for Northwoods. In September 2013 I started the next chapter in my career. I became an accountant for Monnier & CO CPAs in Sidney Ohio! This change in career has allowed me to move back to my hometown. It has been an exciting few months and I am so looking forward to what the future holds, as I get to know all of my new clients.It was one of those new clients Precision Thermoplastic Components, Inc. that has become my next home. In December 2014 I became the Controller for PTC. It feels so good be back in a Controller role! I look forward to helping PTC continue to grow and expand.
