Amy is a Child and Adult therapist at Indigo Therapy Group. She is passionate about working with children, caregivers, women’s issues, and young adults. She uses an Attachment, Family Systems, Play Therapy, and Insight Oriented/Internal Family Systems approach. Amy is currently receiving additional training/supervision in pursuit of the Registered Play Therapy (RPT) certification. Amy has completed Theraplay Level 1 training and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy training. Amy is LGBTQ+ affirming.Amy dedicates time in learning about culturally sensitive approaches to treatment, unlearning personal racial/ethnic biases, and advocating for social change.Amy has past professional work experience as a Music Therapist in adult care centers and long term/acute psychiatric facilities. Amy also has past experience as a nanny and a tutor. Her hobbies include: reading, fitness,& exploring Chicago.
