I teach Latin to 8th-10th graders using the reading/natural method in the Oerberg Lingua Latina text complemented by explicit grammar instruction, enriched with elements of spoken and sung Latin. I am also working with the administration team to establish procedure for students new to the school with varying levels of expertise and the high school curriculum plan, including an honors Latin track. In the '23-'24 school year, I developed a Latin IV honors course for juniors titled "Latin with the Founders", which explores the ideas that inspired America's foundational values found in Cicero's De Officiis and De Republica, Seneca's Epistulae Morales, Vergil's Aeneid, and Livy's History of Rome. For the '24-'25 school year, I will be developing a Latin III honors course for sophomores covering the major genres (Poetry, Philosophy (in poetry and prose), Rhetoric, and History). This course will aim to improve the students' reading abilities in authentic Latin while discussing how these different genres convey truth.

I worked intensively in learning the pottery of Hirpinia at the Aeclanum site, processing finds from across the site. I and the others of the pottery staff learned to identify forms across pottery classes, and I received further instruction on pottery drawing. Additionally, we took inventories of the material amassed in the previous season and reorganized storerooms.For the final two weeks of the summer, I returned to the Suburban baths project to assist with pottery drawings and photography and training new participants. I have returned to supervise pottery field work participants in the summers of 2018 and 2019 as well.

Assisted trench supervisor with training new participants, particularly with drawing. July: continued work on the material at the Suburban Baths at Pompeii, Italy. Assisted with supervision of new participants as they learned to clean, sort, and register pottery finds, and gained significant experience drawing pottery for publication.

Worked as part of a tightly-knit team filling and rolling burritos and serving other food items such as tacos, nachos, and burrito bowls. In addition to working on the line serving customers and closing the line area, I worked the grill, grilling and chopping meats in anticipation of the dinner rush and the end of the night, and regularly shut it down for the night and cleaned it. During my time at Freebirds, the company transitioned from a follow-down service model to a pass-down one, in which employees have stations and are responsible for just one component, whether it is warming the tortilla/starting the items; adding beans, rice, and a protein; adding fresh veggies and sauces; rolling it up; grabbing the sides of chips and dip; or ensuring everyone gets their items at the cash register. Communication was crucial and I learned to work hard to keep items moving smoothly by being proactive. When on the line, I worked as roller/finisher, wrapping up and placing burritos in baskets (or bagging things to-go), while also taking care of the sides of chips and dip and communicating to the register position what was ordered. It was a challenge to implement the change, but with everyone up to speed and working well, we proved to be a much more efficient team.

For these documents, I compiled links to relevant websites, synthesized biographies, and summarized other related artists' careers and related art movements, which created a comprehensive picture of the context of the works on display within the artist's oeuvre and contemporary art. This allowed the docents to cogently tailor each tour for its audience.
