I teach students who need further understanding in math concepts, reasoning, and processing skills. I use current research to help develop inquiry and create tasks to fill in the gaps that my students may have in their foundational math skills. I use PNOA, SNAP, Math Recovery, Investigations, Bridges, Do the Math and other research based math resources to help my students be successful in math. I am also on our district's math committee which makes informative decisions about our math curriculum. I am dedicated to the success of my students and will do my best to see them succeed. It is inspiring to have my students tell me that they finally understand math!
