Lead public involvement programs for multiple contracts with state, local, and regional government agencies. Responsible for developing project schedules, scopes, budgets, and work plans. Maintain and foster positive client and team relations.Plan and execute special events for large community projects, including over 100 public meetings; a freeway opening event “Loop 202 Freeway Opening – Roundin’ Out the Red Mountain”; and a groundbreaking and construction completion event for the award winning US 89T project south of Page, AZ.Manage public involvement, website development and maintenance, and graphic design on project specific tasks.Responsible for quality assurance/quality control for all public involvement deliverables, including writing, editing, proofreading, producing and distributing print, electronic and video materials.Coordinate meetings involving elected officials, government agencies, public, and community groups. These include workshops, public open houses, public hearings, community working groups, and special events. Support public involvement marketing strategies and proposal efforts; develop public involvement proposals and participate in proposal presentations. Participate in strategic pursuits and develop business development plans.Coordinate and execute statewide media campaigns, including print, electronic media, direct mail, television, and radio.Design, plan, and implement public involvement, public relations, media and governmental relation/communication programs for various National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) studies; transportation planning, design, and construction projects; water and waste water infrastructure improvement projects; and community planning projects.Develop and deliver project related presentations to elected officials and community groups. Represent clients and firm at project meeting, industry events, and functions.
