About Amy Saville
I am passionate about my career and the opportunity I have had to mentor and advise UVU students in ways that I hope will accelerate their careers. I love working with local companies to build relationships with UVU programs and share all the amazing things happening in our community with students who will soon be working in those industries. In my newest role at UVU, I'm thrilled to be building relationships with Advisors, Faculty, and Program Directors as we build UVU's Online Programs and make UVU more accessible and flexible for any student anywhere. I'm a mother of 5 children, 2 of whom are currently UVU students, and 1 is a UVU Alumni. I am also a UVU, First-Generation, Non-Traditional Student, or Adult Learner, and it is an amazing thing to attend the University with my children! We support each other in finding our passions, cheer each other on in our success, and sometimes cry together in our struggles. I couldn't ask for better classmates. (even if we're not in the same classes)I am the wife of an amazing husband who supports me through everything. He always has my back and inspires me regularly. He is my personal chef and proofreader; he keeps me up to date on what's happening in the world and is always encouraging me to improve myself in anything I want to tackle. I was born and raised an Idaho country girl, and that will always be a part of me. My family is supportive of my goals and excited to see me reach new heights. I'm grateful for the lessons of hard work, reliability, responsibility, accountability, acceptance, love, and so many more that I could name that were instilled in me from a very young age. I was given a great place to begin my journey, and I'm always looking forward to seeing what I might accomplish next.
