NUAS is a Unit of the RAF which provides flying training to undergraduate students to allow potential pilots to experience life in service.

I am a parliamentary intern for Tom Gordon MP of the Harrogate and Knaresborough constituency. During this internship, I will be assisting on the Summer Tour, dealing with casework and press releases, primarily constituency based but with trips to Westminster.

I shadowed members of the MOD who work in Military Strategic Effects, whilst engaging in orientations of wider governmental departments: FCDO, Directorate of Defence Communications, National Security Communications, House of Commons and British Forces Broadcasting Services. The aim of this was to meet officials working in areas of international relations and understand how the HMG’s priorities are delivered through the work of military officers and civil servants.
