Through my work as a social worker I have been able to build experience working with families on their homes. I am able to address a wide range of adolescent behaviors from a systemic approach. I frequently work with other programs such as The Department of Children and Families, various school systems, the juvenile justice department and courts, and other various agencies and programs my clients are involved with. I have also had the opportunity to learn and implement Mulisystemic Theray (MST), an evidenced-based model. Through leaning and utilizing this model I have attended various trainings, received a great deal of supervision, and consulted with and expert on the therapy. I have used various data bases and improved my skills as a social worker.My passion is to work in the child welfare field helping children and families. My career aspirations include advancing in my career. After obtaining my LCSW I would hope to earn a promotion to a supervisory role or obtain a job at another agency to further my career.
