In this position, I work in partnership with the store manager to recruit, interview, hire, and train associates to improve selling and the customer experience.I deliver exceptional customer service to all customers while leading the sales floor.I coach associates in the moment on the sales floor and assist them in any way that I can.I am responsible for opening and closing the store. I determine store goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. I receive shipment and process it. I make the store schedule for all associates and ensure the store is properly staffed at all times to protect the business.

I led the sales floor by creating a fun, energetic, and positive environment for customers to shop and for employees to work and thrive in.I was adaptable and flexible to meeting all customers needs from the time they walked in until the time they left.I drove and owned business results by ensuring I went the extra mile for all customers. In this position, I provided customer service leadership alongside my Co-Manager and General Manager to our team at that store. I handled customer and employee concerns in a prompt manner. I assisted in training new employees. I helped make the schedule from week to week. As management, I implemented marketing programs and ensured our plan-o-grams and signage were correct. I encouraged my team to meet company selling goals. I worked to make sure truck was properly unloaded and put away. I made sure product was in stock and front faced and ready for our customers. I also completed the Daily Sales Report on days when I opened the store.

This part time position required me to assist customers with their clothing purchases, making sure the sales floor remained cleaned and stocked, receiving and unloading shipments, and pricing and tagging new inventory.

My duties for this position included assisting students with their book purchases, running a cash register, putting out backstock, pricing inventory, and ensuring our sales floor was always customer ready.
