My role has included:• Research fellow work including study design, survey development, data analysis, report writing and writing papers. Projects have include an investigation university student’s values toward wildlife and investigating the feasibility of scaling health and sustainability indices to local levels, amoung others.• Practical teacher for Environmental Planning and Impact Assessment (including topics such as statutory and strategic planning, and environmental impact assessment)• Marking assignments for the undergraduate units: Society and Environment and Environmental Planning and Impact Assessment

I was fortunate enough to gain a 0.6FTE position covering staff on leave as an Associate Lecturer. My role inlvoved Unit chair duties for the undergraduate unit, Society and Environment; delivering all online and on campus content (including topics such as behaviour change, environmental values, and social research); and undertaking all marking required for Society and Environment

This role involved:• Coordinating the running of the program, including managing the budget• Developing curriculum and lesson plans and implementing these with school children from Prep to Year 12 • Developing native garden plans via collaboration with school children• Engaging students in native gardening workshops• Designing, developing and presenting professional development workshops for teachers around engaging children in nature

This role invloved:• Liaising with the public and organisations to help them understand and use the Ecological Footprint tool• Managing the development of the 2008 Victorian Ecological Footprint Report• Managing the production of the Carbon Matters e-newsletter• Internal review committee for the Australian Greenhouse Calculator upgrade, with a focus on education materials
