About Amy Shipley

I have a history of providing medical speech-language pathology services in Hawai'i. Clinical work is my priority- as such, I have an array of clinical skills with specialized training in dysphagia diagnostics. I'm also interested in metacognitive elements of medical speech-language pathology, and how the internal biases of providers affect clinical decision making. I aim to have a role in the improvement of both academic and clinical education for future medical speech-language pathologists, especially those interested in serving Hawai'i.
