I developed, delivered and executed a recruiting plan to identify and engage top university talent across the United States by leveraging on campus engagement and partnership with talent sourcers. By understanding candidate motivators and highlighting Microsoft’s culture and vision, I was able to make hires into software engineering, program management, data science and service engineering roles hitting just over 100% of hiring goals for the year between August and January.

As a technical sourcer I was responsible for finding top university candidates and connecting them with great core development opportunities at Microsoft. I created sourcing and outreach strategies utilizing LinkedIn, Piazza and several additional social networks to engage passive candidates worldwide. Additionally, I managed and processed Microsoft’s online application system. Other responsibilities included creating and implementing a training guide for new talent sourcers and technical screening candidates for proficiency.
