I've been a Certified Peer Support Specialist for 16 yrs, and a Community Health Worker for 5 yrs. In those 16 yrs I've worked in 3 different counties in Michigan. Learned more skills and became a clinical professional equal to the professionals team that I work with. One thing I'm passionate about is how having/getting physical health diagnoses/illness can dramatically affect a person's mental health. I specialize in how a physical illness can affect a person's mental health. I'm also a handler and trainer for psychiatric service dogs and emotional support animals. I give support to those who are training their own service dogs, making sure that the service dog handler is following the American with Disabilities Act law. Also I make sure that the person who can possibly benefit from using a service dog is ready for the responsibilities that come with having a service dog.I'm also a competitive cyclist and love to stay active. I love to do time trials Tuesday nights in Ohio.
