I graduated WVU in 1994 with a degree in Broadcast News. I began my career at NBC12 in Richmond, VA as a video editor and assistant producer. I then became a television reporter and worked at WVVA in Bluefield and Beckley, WV, a small market where I gained skills as videographer, field producer, editor and reporter. I worked my way up to Bureau Chief. I Then worked my way up the market ranks and became a Bureau Chief at WGHP in High Point, NC. After having spent 9 years in the business, I left to raise my two children, became a fitness instructor and organic farmer on my family's farm outside of Morgantown WV. My mother sold the farm and my husband and I moved to Hendersonville, NC with our kids. With my children grown, I decided to get back into the field as a freelance videographer. In addition to feature stories, I work with clients to help them create a brand for themselves. Together, we create "The Story" which is an integral part in messaging what they have to offer their clients. We do this through storyboarding, writing script, filming and editing. My clients use this video content on their websites and social media platforms. I've also done weddings, special events and memorial service videos.
