As a senior paralegal, I am responsible for all aspects of litigation support including, but not limited to: analyzing ediscovery and protective order negotiations, conducting ESI collection, managing contract review teams, drafting discovery responses and other legal documents; investigating the factual basis of claims; drafting and submitting FOIA requests; locating, gathering and summarizing client and third-party documents for purposes of discovery and fact-finding; implementing and managing large document databases; communicating with clients, experts and witnesses as necessary; coordinating the exchange of information with co-counsel, litigation support personnel and outside vendors; preparing for trial and trial support; and performing legal research and citation verification.The most challenging and rewarding part of my position is making sure the attorneys I support work cohesively as a team without duplicating work. I've been described by my superiors as the person that keeps the ship afloat and on course. I take pride in providing a compass through the storm.It's also my role as a senior paralegal to guide those newer to the support world. I thrive when helping others excel.
