I had the privilege to work with a team relentlessly passionate about the work that they do in the industry. My role focused on full cycle recruiting - sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate evaluation, reference checks, background check initiation and on-boarding/orientation. Networking, attending job fairs, establishing relationships with local Universities and effectively representing the company brand in a professional way was essential to my position.

My role focus was on full cycle recruiting functions for an award winning Firm. Working for ITS was an incredible learning experience for me. I worked with an incredible team that was driven to provide exceptional service to clients and candidates. My responsibilities included sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate evaluation, submitting top talent to clients, reference checks, on-boarding and quality check-in with each candidate after placement. I utilized effective, creative and cost efficient recruiting resources and methods such as referrals, internet job postings and networking to identify qualified candidates. This role was the start of my experience in recruiting and it was for a multinational telecommunications and data networking equipment manufacturer headquartered in Canada. This was a time of immense learning and growth for me. It sparked my passion for team development and made me realize there is nothing I would rather do than spend my days assisting others in finding the perfect opportunity. Responsibilities included handling operational procedures as it related to hiring requirements, supporting management with steps to the hiring process, the review/critique of job descriptions to ensure job postings will attract candidates and adhere to legal/compliance requirements, provided timely 
and compelling delivery of verbal offers to selected external candidates, ensured quality of data entry, metrics and compliance of processes, interviewing, support of all compliance related initiatives as required by country including background check process and support of New Grad hiring activity as needed.
