A passionate and driven Primary School Teacher who enjoys challenge and inspiring young minds to reach their highest academic, social and emotional potential. As an eager learner, I have proven my abilities both academically and professionally, from acquiring a first class dissertation based on the effects of unconscious gender inequalities within primary schools to receiving excellent recommendations from mentors across my teacher training placements.My training has allowed me to work with multiple year groups in diverse classroom environments and build on my abilities to assist in the learning of EAL and SEN students to make learning as inclusive and accessible as possible. Through completing placements across multiple terms, I gained experience in the continuous marking and essential feedback of student's work whilst tracking progression across multiple assessment periods. My dedication to teaching allows me to create meaningful connections to those involved in the school community as well as collaborate with wider school bodies to positively impact learner outcomes. I thoroughly enjoy creating an engaging learning environment whereby students feel comfortable and excited to be within the classroom as well as grow as individuals. Outside of work you will find me playing Netball for my local team or meeting with my language enhancement group to improve my Spanish speaking skills and learn from different cultures.
