I began my Accounting career working as an Accounts Payable Specialist. Due to my unrelated Bachelor degree, I was promoted to Junior Cost Accountant. After earning my MBA in Accounting, I was once again promoted to Senior Cost Accountant. I then moved into the position of Staff Accountant. After a short time at that position, I came to my current employer as a Plant Controller. As such, I am involved in Cost Accounting and all facets of General Ledger Accounting, including journal entries, variance analysis, month end close, year end close, financial reporting and budgeting. I also oversee and manage the Account Payable clerk at my location. In addition, I previously had a small bookkeeping business using Quickbooks and Quickbooks Online. During my career I have been involved in several different ERP implementations. I thrive in a team environment and am adept at seeing the big picture and seeing different viewpoints and reconciling differences.
