Amy is Informa Tech's Senior Director of Marketing Operations, which encompasses Marketing Specialisms across SEM, SEO, CRO, Design, Video and Marketing Analytics. In this role, she drives the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing org via the establishment of best practice, enhanced processes and robust upskilling, together with the execution of digital marketing strategies aimed at significantly increasing event Audience and Client conversions and ROI.From 2021-2023, she was the Digital Marketing Director – SEO & SEM, within central Marketing Operations. In this position, she headed up the SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) processes and strategy for the business and led her team in deploying high-impact campaigns across world-leading B2B events, research, media, and training products. Previous to this, she held the position of Head of Digital Content, leading the organisation’s Content Marketing and Social Media strategy, encompassing brands such as AfricaCom (Connecting Africa), London Tech Week, 5G World Series and the AI Summit Series (AI Business).During 2020, she helped facilitate the company’s pivot to digital, honing its virtual event and digital offerings for both attendees and clients. She has spent the majority of her marketing career working within the tech industry, in various horizontal technologies, as well as holding positions within the membership association, charity and education sectors. She joined Informa Tech (then KNect365 TMT) in London, in 2016.
