-Provide a nurturing environment where the children feel safe to learn basic skills such as color, shape, number and shape recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.-Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development by means of games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling and singing. -Observe and document signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related issues and discuss with supervisors, parents or guardians, and child development specialists.-Attend to individual child developmental needs (i.e. language development, potty-training, fine/gross motor skill development, etc.)

-Lead a classroom of 20-25 students and provide a safe and nurturing environment.-Assist students to accomplish homework assigned each day.-Teach necessary skills at developmentally appropriate level of each student.-Guide classroom in physical activity to promote health habits.-Communicate with parents or guardians, and supervisors of children's well-being. -Organize and collaborate with students in arts and crafts and story-telling time.
