Amy Vela, born in Mission, Texas, moved often in her youth. Her father was a member of the Air Force, then a Border Patrol agent after that. While her father was stationed in Laredo, the family lived in the small city of Cotulla. It is here where Amy graduated from high school and where she met her husband, Michael. Amy and her new husband left Cotulla and headed to MIssion in search of new opportunities.Now, the couple have three children and Michael has a burgeoning career in law enforcement. Two years ago, Amy found a new love, helping people find their dream homes. As a realtor, she takes pride in what she does.Thanks to her family’s involvement in law enforcement, she was inspired to found with a friend a soon-to-be non-profit organization aimed at serving all branches of law enforcement and their families, Family in Blue.She has also launched the Love Our Heroes program in which she gives back money from her commission to any law enforcement, veteran, military, healthcare professional or teachers buy or sell homes through her.If you are looking to buy, rent, or sell give me a call and we can talk. Talk to you soon!Talk to you soon!
