I am a detailed and adaptable 20+ year corporate meetings and events leader. I love the adventure of driving organizational success through creating internal community and motivation through meetings and incentives. I enjoy the ever-changing planning journey from the bidding process to contract negotiation, from client introductions to event execution, from post-con to data reporting and analysis. I am an analytical thinker and am able to dig into and interpret fine details while still seeing the big picture. I'm a dynamic problem solver and relationship builder who embraces the dedication this journey requires.As a manager, I enjoy building teams and developing talent. I am known to be a sounding board and have a reputation as an approachable manager. I am not a micro-manager and believe that mistakes are the best learning tools - and we all make them.In my very first job, I not only learned the meaning of hard work, but also the importance of communication. My manager constantly stated, “communication is the key to success”. This stuck with me and impacts how I approach work today. Communication is especially key in hospitality, meetings and events and I always ensure my team and clients know what is happening and why.In my free time, I hike the great outdoors of Colorado in all types of weather with my 9 year old rescue dog, Tali. I always have my camera with me, as I enjoy practicing landscape and wildlife photography, and I'm an avid reader and audio book listener.
