Hello! I'm Amy. I love (including but not limited to) facts, stats, cats, David Beckham, tennis, words, mountains, languages, travel, and walking really far. My pet peeves are (including but not limited to) small sinks, littering, and unnecessary paper leaflets. I learn about people, places and things. I started Start Ops after bumping into an old colleague who had started his own business. I asked him how he knew how to do things like accounting, finance, payroll, HR, recruitment and running his own business. He said he didn't. Hmm, I thought, I do. Start Ops was born on a hot day on random street in Brighton after a sea-front run. Start Ops builds and manages operations departments for startups, scale ups and small businesses. Lots of founders spend their time sorting payroll, accounting, recruitment, HR and employment issues when their time is more valuable elsewhere. Lots of startups also don't need someone full time in house to manage this - so we're the bridge between when you, the founder, are doing all this yourself and no longer have the time, to when you need a full time hire. Start Ops helps founders reprioritise their time to concentrate on where they have the most impact - whether that's at work or at home.Operations is the department that touches your team at every point. Making their experience at your company the best it can be is essential to unlocking your team's potential and ensuring you succeed BETTER. I have partnered with accountants, employment lawyers, HR consultants, insurance brokers, PR specialists, and pension providers to provide a whole operations department for your startup. If this sounds like something that would help you, please check out my website here: https://www.start-ops.uk/ or email me here: amy@start-ops.uk - let me help you refocus your time. What will you do with all your new-found time?
