I developed and implemented strategic initiatives to guide organization-wide social media and electronic communications compliance during a period of global regulation and compliance transformation. I also served in a direct advisory role to the C-suite and senior decision makers across data governance, cloud implementation, vendor interaction, and social media.I advised senior members of each unit of the Federation, including Technology, Operations, Risk, Finance, HCM, Services, Internal Audit, and the Executive Office as Compliance subject matter expert (SME). I designed a strategy to manage eight diverse and vastly different divisions with a primary focus on building individual skillsets and cross-functional engagement.

I directed a global team supporting the Executive Office (Office of the Chairman, Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Government Affairs, Brand and Content Strategy). I am recognized by clients, staff and the senior leadership team for introducing digital compliance policies and controls resulting in improved business performance. I was appointed the head of the cross-divisional Black Network providing tactical oversight of talent recruitment and retention. I envisioned, designed, and launched a program to manage compliance and risk of the firm’s social media presence on various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. I also provided leadership on the social media direction across several firm brands to ensure a consistent approach to retention, surveillance, and escalation resolution.

I led a diverse, cross-functional team managing risk and compliance across global businesses. I focused on a potential reputational risk across e-communication (including voice recording systems), applications, and platforms. I also designed global standard operating procedures (SOPs) to meet regulatory surveillance requirements. I returned in 2016 to manage the team during period of transition.I spearheaded a global initiative to enhance surveillance by creating replicable strategy used across the organization to assist in the mitigation of insider trading and data security risks. I also streamlined surveillance protocol to address inefficient review flows. I established and integrated a voice surveillance program including annual business and compliance regulatory certifications. I also built and led a global team providing critical insight and direction during the development and integration of a formal strategy to address potential risks associated with e-communications.
