The Wright Workshops bring together authors and educators to inspire children's love of writing, with in-person workshops and online writing programmes designed to nurture children’s interests while supporting storytelling within a creative curriculum. Our programmes allow children to write personal stories that they love to tell, developing their skills in oracy, writing and enhancing confidence, self-expression and ability to connect with others.We will:• Collaborate with professional writers from a variety of genres, to inspire and support students.• Focus on the author’s story, helping to enhance the school curriculum with an authentic voice.• Work from a range of stimuli and cross-curricular resources, including digital content, to engage learning in a targeted way.• Help non-specialist teachers build their capacity and resilience. • Support key transition year groups, including Yrs 1 and 2, 5 and 6.Support is available in school and online, via video workshops and lessons.
