During my time at the University of Iowa, I took various leadership roles including President of the Ballet Club and Vice President of the Undergraduate Dance Organization. These positions honed my leadership and organizational skills, which I further developed as a member of Alpha Xi Delta and through active participation in Dance Marathon.My professional experience includes working as a Student Supervisor with Volunteer Services at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. This role provided me with valuable insights into nonprofit business management. Additionally, I completed multiple internships with ProAmpac, where I gained hands-on experience in a business setting.In the realm of dance, I have had the privilege of working with renowned artists such as Laura Kariotis, Todd Roades, Talia Favia, Eloy Barragan, George De La Pena, Armando Duarte and Melinda Jean Myers. My performance highlights include dancing with the Martha Graham Dance Company in there GRAHAM100 anniversary performance at Hancher Auditorium under the direction of Virgine Mencene. I was also a member of the University of Iowa Dance Company, a pre-professional dance collective supported by the University Department of Dance. Our collective traveled to various places in Iowa and Chicago to perform. I also performed at the University of Iowa Presidential Lecture for President Barbra Wilson, numerous Dance Gala productions, and worked closely with graduate students on their thesis performances.In high school my passion for dance led me to many different places across the United States as well as an opportunity to study abroad in London with Menina Fortunato. In my high school academics, I was a member of National Honor Society and a reoccurring high honor roll student. I also had the privilege to study abroad to study marine conservation in the Dominican Republic.I am excited to leverage my diverse skill set and experiences to bridge the worlds of art and business, driving innovative projects and collaborations in the future.
