Heartworks is a non-profit acts of kindness group of over 200 women in Barrington, RI who gather monthly to do acts of kindness to those in our community experiencing challenging life circumstances. The Barrington Heartworks group is one of 8 groups in the nation. Heartworks was started in response to the outpouring of support received by it's founder, Megan McDowell after losing her brother-in-law to the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center.
