PTA volunteer focused on assisting the school where extra support is needed. Most recently, co-chaired the Scholastic Book Fair, delegating tasks, recruiting volunteers and interacting with families at the school. With a focus on aiding teachers in growing their in-class libraries and getting books into the hands of students, striving for a successful fair is always and has always been the goal.Before becoming involved in the book fair, I coordinated the schools largest fundraiser two years in a row, the Fall Carnival and Silent Auction. Overseeing committees and volunteers successfully coming together to run a family friendly event the first weekend in November. Networking with local and national businesses for silent auction donations months prior to the event. Resolving any changes that may arise in the event planning process, and building successful relationships with the community and local businesses.

Customer service and time management are priority. Delivering accurate orders and communicating with the customer when items are not in stock or if the desired amount is unavailable. Active problem solving looking for adequate substitutions to offer and keeping the line of communication open with the customer.

Front desk receptionist greeting clients upon arrival and check-in, communicating with clinic staff for all medical, grooming and boarding appointments. Keeping an up-to-date stock of specialty pet food, toys, accessories and successfully submitting orders with the food vendor. Maintaining up-to-date client records and clearly communicating with clients and other vet clinics locally, and sometimes nationally working to keep clients valid on vaccines and health care.
