My name is Amy BeberVanzo. I help people discover what they want and how to make it happen.Meaningful practices have made me successful in many aspects of life and business. I bring this success to my work with teams & leaders, small business owners, and individuals in times of transition. I work as a Somatic Coach, as a Mentor Coach, and as a Feldenkrais Practitioner. Somatic Coaching: operationally, what it means to my clients is learning how to listen to all their resources --body and mind -- to build a more complete self-awareness. Each of us comes through life shaped by our experiences. We must ask, "can this shape get me to the future I envision? Am I the leader I need to be? If not, how can I build the shape I need to succeed?" Through purposeful inquiry and simple physical exercises, I explore with my clients what's missing from their skill set, and what behaviors patterns hamper their success. We develop useful practices -- many derived from the martial art of Aikido -- that enhance the client's dignity, purpose, and resilience that makes it possible for them to reach their goals. Lasting change must be embodied ... so I work with bodies. I do Somatic Bodywork, and I teach the Feldenkrais Method, which uses gentle movement and directed attention to help people learn new and more effective ways of living the life they want. Both are aspects of building self-awareness and improving how we move in our bodies and through our lives. I am Strozzi Institute certified Somatic Coach, a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation, and a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner.
