I am currently employed within the Psychological Evaluation and Research Consultancy Hub (PERCH) as an RA. My particular focus is related to UWTSDs Widening Access Plan and supports the Future Generations Act (2015). I am currently contributing to a project exploring the efficacy of interventions aimed at increasing uptake of, and engagement with HE within Wales. This project is being undertaken across schools in Wales, with an eventual aim of producing an evaluative "toolkit" which can be utilised to robustly measure future initiatives aimed at ensuring a more resilient and prosperous Wales. I also undertake a variety of RA tasks for a number of other projects, and regularly collaborate with colleagues both within PERCH and other institutes/organisations.

This role allowed me to gain hands-on experience in supporting vulnerable adults, while also undertaking risk assessments, writing support plans and liasing with multiple organisations to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

During this time I was employed as the psychological research associate on a collaborative project between the UWTSD School of Psychology and the Assistive Technology Innovation Centre. We were exploring the wellbeing of academic staff returning to office-working after COVID-19, with a particular focus on environmental barriers to mental health and productivity. My role included a wide variety of tasks such as: preparing study materials, reviewing existing literature, online survey creation, data analysis and contributing to manuscript preparation.
