These traits have served me well in my 20+ years in the association world and I am excited to use them for success in my role as executive director. If you would have asked the teenage-me what I would be when I grew up, an association executive would not have even been on the list. In fact, I discovered the amazing world of associations like most do, by accident, and the rest is history.Helping members be their best, adding value to organizations, and achieving the vision set forth by the members is what I love to do. I have had the unique opportunity to be involved in many aspects of the non-profit world including education and training, fund development, advocacy, business intelligence, networking and conferences, staff and volunteer management, strategic planning, operations, and employee development. These, along with my empathetic leadership style, will allow me to bring new ideas and a broad skillset to your company.When I am not helping others, you can find me hiking with my husband and spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors.
