Responsible for the strategic planning and direction of the artistic vision, administrative framework, financial health and development of MainLine Theatre, a multidisciplinary organization that exists to support the development of emerging, mid-career and professional artists by favouring artistic practice and models of production centered around the democratization of artistic creation by reducing accessibility barriers faced by artists and audiences.- Curates large-scale events and… Show more Responsible for the strategic planning and direction of the artistic vision, administrative framework, financial health and development of MainLine Theatre, a multidisciplinary organization that exists to support the development of emerging, mid-career and professional artists by favouring artistic practice and models of production centered around the democratization of artistic creation by reducing accessibility barriers faced by artists and audiences.- Curates large-scale events and seasonal in-person and digital programming, such as, the Bouge d'ici Dance Festival, the Encore Series and the Montreal Fringe Festival.- Cultivates relations and liaises with key stakeholders in the local, national and international communities.- Creates multiyear operational budgets, cashflow statements, quarterly reports and oversees the financial audit in collaboration with the finance committee of the Board of Directors.- Submits grants and all interim and final reports to and communicates with, granting agencies.- Represents and advocates for independent professional artists to the artistic stakeholdres as aresult of working with more than 1,000 artists annually.- Oversees the MainLine Theatre venue, an arts space located in Montreal's Plateau-Mont-Royal with two performance venues, rehearsal studios and in-house box-office/marketing services.
