Amy Boyce is an Energy and Sustainability professional in the DC metro area. She is a licensed mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the DC market in the areas of building design and construction, sustainability, and energy efficiency. Amy's current role is Vice President, Building Energy and Climate Solutions at WSP, where she helps clients to meet and exceed their energy and climate goals.Amy most recently worked as the Senior Director of Building and Energy Performance at the Institute for Market Transformation, where she focused on promoting energy efficiency in the built environment by developing and promoting the adoption of updated energy codes and building performance standards.Amy' past experience includes Director of Engineering for The Building People and at Green Generation Solutions, where she led a team in performing energy audits and designing solutions for energy and cost savings for a variety of public commercial buildings. Prior to Green Gen, Amy served as the Technical Specialist for all energy related credits in the LEED department at the US Green Building Council, working on both maintenance of the current rating system and the development of the new v4 rating system, with specific expertise related to the areas of energy efficiency, commissioning, renewable energy, and demand response.Amy earned her MBA from Georgetown University and holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. She is actively involved with the National Capital Chapter of ASHRAE.
