The Laughing Falcon creates experiences and classes to make the ancient modern.Currently I am focused on building a homeschool teen sword fighting club and running summer camps that incorporate leather working, sword fighting, metal working, and more.

I offer belly dance classes at the Spinning Jenny in Greer, SC. I focus on technique, musicality, and the joy of dance with a 64 week beginner to intermediate progressive cycle. I also host workshops by local artists.

I am one of three organizers for the Upstate Renaissance Faire, South Carolina's premier Renaissance faire. The first year saw over 10,000 people attend. In the second year, we have added new performers, doubled the vendors, and have raised funds through grants and sponsorships. I communicate with and promote vendors, run the social media channels, and create ongoing content.

I work with third grade Challenge students and middle school students teaching literature through theater techniques.

After completing Jennifer Kem's Master Brand program, I was hired by Upstate Homeschool Co-op as an independent consultant to redesign the yearbook curriculum on both the design and the business sides of the program.For the business side, I worked with students and the facilitator to build the following:1. A cash calendar2. The sales and marketing curriculum3. Email, followup, and leadpages systems4. Sales pitches and community engagementOn the design side, we created the following:1. Scaffolding to teach basic interview, copy, and photography skills 2. Efficient assignment and fulfillment systems 3. A video series by the students to teach incoming classes the basic skills4. A day-by-day curriculum that fits the college model rather than a traditional 5-day model

Broad St. Bellydance is dedicated to providing quality and affordable bellydance instruction and a new and fun way to get in shape.
