As partner in the software development consulting company, my primary role was to manage all of the daily administrative tasks of the business. Building the business from the ground up, I was part of the team that developed the employee handbook, hiring procedures, and employee yearly review guidelines. Daily processing of accounts payable, receivables and invoicing utilizing Quickbooks. I also performed monthly close out including journal entries and bank and credit card reconciliation. Biweekly submission and processing of payroll. I worked with third party administrators to develop a 401K plan for employees and partners. I organized and maintained all employee files and records including new hire paperwork and set up, termination documentation and vacation accrual maintenance. Analyzed and prepared all financial data in relation to cash flow, new contracts, hiring, and end of year planning. Worked with accountants to prepare all end of year documentation necessary for tax purposes. Worked as part of a project management team on a large claims processing contract. I was responsible for daily communication with the client to determine the scope of work to be completed as well as any changes to the requirements, in addition, I also provided the client with weekly status reports. I met with clients as needed in regards to contract negotiations and staffing needs. Worked with clients to get all documentation necessary for work to begin on a contract.

Provided administrative support to CCI's business development team as services were expanded to provide learning management systems to multiple community colleges and universities.Responsible for developing and implementing new hire packets for all incoming instructors which increased efficiency and reduced confusion. Worked with colleges to develop course schedules and communicated the status of classes and instructors to top executives daily. Maintained master spreadsheet with all class offerings. Worked with college representatives to resolve any instructor, material, or student issues.

As an assistant conference planner, I provided support to senior staff for conferences ranging from 20-2,000 participants for National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute, and the Environmental Protection Agency. I was responsible for formatting, editing, and preparing meeting materials according to client specifications. I was responsible for the shipping and tracking of all meeting materials to the meeting locations. In addition, I oversaw the quality assurance and quality control of all materials. I worked closely with hotels and conference centers to coordinate banquet event orders and audio visual needs. Additionally, I provided onsite logistical support for clients and participants for the duration of the meeting. I also provided travel planning and support to senior conference planners.
