As the Head of Creative Strategy at Google, I have over 20 years of experience in leading and delivering complex, high-impact, and award-winning campaigns and projects for one of the world's most influential brands. I am a senior creative and strategic leader, a trusted advisor, and a voice of the brand, with a passion for bringing science, arts and culture together. In my current role, I develop and direct multiple campaigns and engagement strategies from scratch, such as the annual launch of Google Pixel, the Curiosity Rooms, and YouTube Music in Residence, reaching millions of users and customers across various platforms and channels. I also drive a focus on diversity and inclusion, building a long-term legacy for Google and optimising its presence as a positive contributor to the local economy. Additionally, I collaborate with PR and Comms teams to mitigate reputational risk and build compelling narratives, while championing a high-performance business culture. Prior to joining Google, I was the Festival Director of the Edinburgh International Television Festival, where I gained hands-on, cross-functional leadership experience and built rapport with key players in the industry.I’ve been able to bring my ideas to life by strategically aligning stakeholders towards a shared vision and leading the end-to-end delivery of major programmes / projects and global campaigns.During my time at Google, I have personally gained a place on the ‘Event 100 Power List’ and led projects that have resulted in three listings in Campaign Magazine’s Annual Top 10 Live Experience, The Drum Experience Award for Best Brand Activation / Best B2B Event, and Gold at the C&IT Awards.Core to all of my work, I am passionate about bringing people along with me to achieve a common vision, partnering with allies, both internally and externally, and gaining a reputation as an authentic, loyal and optimistic leader wholives by the motto ‘work hard and be nice to people’.
