Led production of a handful of bi-monthly magazine departments about elk and elk country, including national volunteer coverage and Women in Elk Country. Also responsible for producing nationally distributed newsletter, reporting and writing magazine feature articles, copy editing freelance writing and proofing final magazine layouts. Served as a writer, photographer and copy editor for the Colorado Parks and Wildlife magazine devoted to outdoor conservation and education. I coordinated content with biologists, research staff, freelance writers and photographers as well as produced original content for print and the online companion site www.coloradooutdoorsmag.com. I also managed an online photo gallery for user-generated content of hunter stories and photos on the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website.

I designed, edited and published 10 annual printed and online regulation brochures. I redesigned the print brochures for consistency and ease of use, added an interactive edition for use in the field, and ensured the brochures were posted to the website per state law. Managed suite of social media accounts to bring more accessibility to newspaper content and drive readership to print. Was responsible for design, implementation and oversight of user-generated contests and content that lived in galleries on website built for four newspaper groups across the company. Also reported and wrote feature stories and assisted with city desk editing shifts.
