• Served as the lead Systems Analyst and Business Liaison, working with the third party vendor, the development and QA teams in the planning and implementation of the Taxware modules (a third party vended application); this software integrated with the Sears’ Sales Tax Systems which determined the taxing jurisdictions and applicable tax rates. • Planned, coordinated and assisted in the deployment of upgrades and IT services from Taxware, International.• SA in the Merchandise Information Systems team, providing data analysis and maintaining Item Applications and respective metadata on item attributes and feeds; worked on a multi-phased project which replaced a distressed IMS Application with DB2 and APS/Cobol software solutions. Involved in the migration of data to new DB2 environment and the data conversion processes. • Application developer, coding in Assembler Language (BAL), APS/Cobol, JCL and SQL; conducted unit testing and systems testing.
