About Amy Gross

Amy Gross, Founder and CEO of VineSleuth/ Wine4.Me, began working with sensory scientists, winemakers and wine educators in 2011 to create an easy to use way for consumers to select wines guided by their own flavor preferences. First she built a uniform method for flavor mapping wines using sensory panels. Then she pulled together a team to build a technology platform to put that data to use. The resulting white-labeled software is used on winery and retailer websites, as well in mobile applications for events across the US and in Europe. In 2020, she was recognized as one of the top 30 women in AI in Texas and was honored to be named a Rising Star by the Women For WineSense. Her insights and achievements in wine and AI have been covered in the New York Times, Fortune, CNN, and Meininger’s Wine Business International, among others. In addition to her work with VineSleuth, Amy is also the National President of Women For WineSense and serves as a Vice-Chairman of the Winery Relations Committee of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. She has written about her faith, travel and parenting at MomsToolbox.com since 2001, guiding thousands in reading the entire Bible in 90 days there. She is a mom of 3, has been a foreign exchange mom to 2, and lives in the suburbs of Houston.
