Supporting successful delivery of the Personal Wellbeing contract by line managing PW Advisors and PW mentors to support People on Probation across 4 PW pathways; Emotional Wellbeing, Lifestyle and Associates, Family and Significant Other and Social Inclusion. Monitoring and managing day to day quality of provision to deliver high performance and achieve contractual KPI’s, managing operational liaison with NPS Probation Practitioners to maximise service delivery quality and manage caseload requirements and managing the local relationships with a variety of service providers (public/private/VCS/councils/NHS)to support people on probation to achieve their desired outcomes.

Training and supporting volunteers from a diverse range of local communities to Level 3 and 4 in Advice and Guidance, supporting them to use their lived experience to make positive changes to their peers, with the aim for them to gain paid employment.

Managing the recruitment, supervision and training of Peer Advisors in HMP Nottingham and HMP Drake Hall to Level 3 Advice and Guidance. Designing and developing training content covering a number of aspects including Communication, Homelessness, Safeguarding, Legislation, Equality and Diversity and Dealing with difficult and dangerous clients.

Assessing the needs of both newly sentenced prisoners and those preparing for release in line with the Resettlement Pathways, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure that the appropriate interventions are in place to address any identified needs and ensure a smooth transition through the prison gates whilst supporting the reintegration process back into the community.
