Amy Cheronis is a results-driven communications professional with more than 20 years of broad, integrated experience across categories, geographies and media.In 2020, Amy co-founded The Scratch Collective, a communications firm that delivers strategic storytelling to help start-ups scale. The Chicago and San Francisco-based team works with smart clients across categories including: fast-casual dining, technology, not-for-profit, medical devices, industry association and health and wellness. Prior to starting up Scratch, Amy is the Chief Integration Officer for MSL U.S., focused on the development of business and campaigns seamless across agencies and disciplines. Previously, she served is Managing Director of the Chicago office of MSL, helping to deliver and develop significant growth, new clients and award-winning teams. Prior to joining the PR agency world, Amy was the EVP, Reputation & Communications at Leo Burnett, where she led strategy and execution of external and internal communications across the agency's 85 global offices. In this capacity, Amy wore many hats including writer, editor, strategist, coach, media hound and social-media addict. The Chicago-based team Amy led was named In House PR Teams of the Year by PR Week in 2016. Earlier in her career, Amy served as the U.S. Communications Director at DDB and Tribal DDB for 10 years, where she helped drive PR results for famous campaigns including "Whassup" for Budweiser.
