I've been in your shoes and was a trailing spouse when I came to The Twin Cities in 1998. That move led to my real estate career when I realized I brought a different perspective and empathy to that process for relocation buyers and sellers. I believe my career is a noble profession, and I'm grateful when clients trust me to guide them through their real estate transactions.In 2024, we remain in a competitive market with reduced inventory, but with interest rates that appear to have stabilized. I cultivate a network of support with loan officers and inspectors that strengthen my buyers' positions. I maintain a strong commitment to marketing to ensure my clients are able to get the highest price possible on their investments. As a listing agent, I make sure every listing has professional photos prior to MLS exposure. There is no excuse for amateur cell phone photography at any price point. I follow up diligently after every showing and inquiry about my listings. I am cooperative with agents presenting offers and am careful to maintain professional and considerate relationships with all showing agents. I view at least ten properties per week, which keeps me up to date on pricing, condition, and location of homes on the market. I not only sell real estate, I'm also an investor. My husband and I have a significant portfolio of residential and commercial properties as well as lots and land ready for development. I'm a strong advocate for building wealth through real estate ownership, although I caution prospective investors to manage their expectations: real estate is a get-rich SLOW proposition. Because I'm an active investor, and my husband is a contractor, I have reliable resources for all service vendors and trades workers. I enjoy working with sellers as they prepare their homes for sale and advising them on improvements that will bring the highest return on investment.
