CurrentContentious Trust & Probate Solicitor (ACTAPS member)I work solely in this specialist area of law and deal with all aspects of contentious work including claims involving disappointed beneficiaries, actions involving trusts and trustees, and claims concerning Will disputes..I was the lead lawyer in the matter of Ketteringham -v- Hardy [2011] EWHC 162 (Ch); [2011] W.T.L.R. 1367 and assisted with the case of Suggitt -v- Suggitt.Other notable proprietary estoppel cases I have acted in are James -v- James [2018] EWHC 43 (Ch) and Habberfield -v- Habberfield [2018] EWHC 317 (Ch).Other cases I have been involved in include challenges to the validity of wills based upon lack of mental capacity, lack of knowledge and/or approval, undue influence, fraud and forgery and also challenges by disappointed beneficiaries for financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. I also provide advice in respect of professional negligence claims against professional executors and attorneys.I regularly advise clients referred by banks, accountants, wealth advisors, charities and other law firms who lack the expertise to deal with such work.
